In a future old-time world, Ballister Boldheart, a soldier, is wrongly blamed for a crime. He asks for help from Nimona, a playful teen who can change her form. Even though Ballister is trained to beat people like Nimona, he needs her to show he’s innocent. They stand against a kingdom that doesn’t like them, and it’s hard to tell who’s good, bad, or scary. Together, they start a wild task to clear Ballister’s name and let Nimona enjoy her love for tricks and trouble.
